The Evolution of Walking

The Evolution of Walking

When the human foot walks on soft surfaces like sand or mud, the ground gives way under the body’s weight to form an arch support. This support holds the foot in a very efficient functional position walking. Most walking surfaces we face in day to day life are are much harder than the mud or sand needed to support the feet. The ground no longer gives way when walking. The foot must therefore roll in to meet the ground. It is this rolling in that puts the foot in a very inefficient position functionally. This leads to areas of the foot being overworked causing pain and deformity.

Docpods® orthotic innersoles are designed by a Podiatrist to help to align the foot to its ideal functional position. This reduces wear and tear on the entire foot.

From the minute you put your Docpods into your shoes your feet will feel more efficient an comfortable.
